Description: Meyer May Master Bedroom 1987, (1908 - S.148). Stamped on verso: "Nov 10 1987". Label on verso: "Master Bedroom. The Master Bedroom of the Meyer May House features an original Wright-designed bed from the Charles Helmer Collection. On the north wall is a smaller but similar version of the living room fireplace. The large window seat, surrounded by five windows, is an example of Wright’s concept of integrating outside and inside spaces. Wright’s attention to detail led him to design most of the furniture throughout the house. Even the embroidery pattern for the bed linen is based on early sketches. Steelcase Inc.
